Arabba

Situated at the centre of the Sella Ronda ski circuit is Arabba — one of Italy’s best and most challenging skiing locations. With a total run length of 175 km, Arabba is offers a terrific skiing experience for intermediate and professional skiers and snowboarders. The area has a good variety of slopes and runs but one can only comment that this place is definitely geared towards the better athlete. The steeps here are awesome and, combined with a great snow record and direct access to the Marmolada glacier, ensure the best quality of skiing to suit the adrenalin-driven ski or snowboard aficionado.

In Arabba, you will also find some of the best heliskiing in the Alps, Being a part of the vast Dolomiti Superski area, Arabba is seen more as the “real” skiers’ paradise. People definitely come here for the skiing. In fact, there aren’t a lot of other off-snow activities to be done while staying here, aside from taking a leisurely glide on its natural ice skating rink. There are just enough bars and pizzerias to keep the nightlife busy but people would rather tuck in early to get ready for a great skiing adventure the next day.

Other attractions in Arabba would be taking an excursion on snowshoes to Cherz, tobogganing, sleigh rides, paragliding, or snowmobiling. There are 6 mountain restaurants and pizzerias, some shops, a fitness centre, and a few bars with some that showcase live music. All in all, Arabba is definitely a skier’s wonderland.
