The electrical
current in Italy is 220 volts. Wall outlets take plugs with two
rounded prongs. If you plan to use US electrical appliances you
will need to bring a converter and adapter. If you use European
appliances you will need to just simply change the plug.
If you need a voltage converter or a plug, it
is suggested that you purchase them before you leave on your trip.
Do not use electrical appliances that are designed
for 220 volts in power sources that are 110 volts without the correct
voltage converter. Incorrect use could lead to damage of property.
